A wet plug indicates two things: (1) That you’ve flooded the engine by trying to start it, or that the lower end is loaded up (because you left the gas petcock on). You probably do not need all of the new carb parts, just a good cleaning- especially clean the float valve needles and the float valve seats, and the pilot mixture screws. Make sure both sides of the floats really float in a container of water- the color of them does not matter. 4. Hard starting. Hard starting is another symptom commonly associated with a bad or failing carburetor. The air fuel ratio that the carburetor is responsible for blending and metering is especially important and sensitive during cold starts. If the carburetor has any sort of issue that disturbs the air fuel ratio it may result in hard starting. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R is a lithesome agile number that makes the most of narrow tyres, high-ish bars and minimalist 154 dry weight figure.
